The Art of Attention: Nurturing your mental capacity for creativity and getting things done
Why do our brains so often resist concentrating on the task at hand yet have no problem paying attention to Instagram or the latest Netflix series? When does distraction lead to mental fatigue and creative sluggishness and when can it set the stage for creative mind-wandering? Join us for an exploration of mental fatigue, clear-headedness, and creative thinking. Together we will explore what you can do to safeguard and restore your attentional resources in order to support your creative process and get things done. This talk is for anyone who wants to learn more about how their brain works in order to gain insight into keeping it working at its best.
